Santa Moved South

Contributed by LadyAnnde on Monday, 2nd December 2002 @ 08:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Holiday Poetry

Don't blink your eyes

You can believe what you see

Santa orders toys online from his PC !

So now the elves are all unemployeed

With no where to go

Cause Santa & his Mrs. moved South

Where there's never any snow !

Santa's cozy cottage at the North Pole

Was left totally abandoned

With just a few mice running to & fro

Now why would they do that ?

Cause Santa & his Mrs. bought a Condo !

And as for the eight reiendeer ?

Sad to say, Nobody knows

But this is a fact, I know it to be true

Santa sold his sleigh at auction

With not an ounce of hesitation,

nor a bit of caution.

Oh remember Rudolph's pride & glee

On that terrible foggy Christmas eve

His shiny red nose led the way

Now the poor little fellow

Flies about aimlessly, both night & day.

Mrs. Claus baking candy & treats ?

No way! Not so!

Spends every day at the beach

in her teeny bikini.

Humor has it, she's a site to see !

Ya know, Santa might get jealous,

So let's keep this between you & me !

Though it may not be the same

As when you & I were young

Don't let it get you down

Cause for now,Santa & the Mrs

Are still taking care of business.

Some advice & a bit of good news

Come this Christmas Eve

You can keep your fireplace burning

And as for the milk & cookies ?

You can just forget that too !

But I do suggest you keep some on hand

For the mail lady & UPS man

They are the ones making Santa's deliveries

As far a I know that is the plan.

Well, Seems safe to say

Santa is nearing retirement

And what about the reindeer & elves :-( ??

Aww... Just forget I mentioned any of this.

Go ahead and

HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS !
