Manically Digress

Contributed by frickinflamer on Monday, 2nd December 2002 @ 10:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

In the rhythm of you heart holds a beat that will one day stop;
the pain and suffering you will someday feel.
Youre veins will loosely pop.
Youre heart will one day go a light tint of the once so red it was, to the eyes above, or eyes below, you will kneel.
And you're impulses will suddenly slow down to nothing.
Youre skin will turn into a frain yet pale substance,
you're eyes will began to go blood shot, and sting,
and your flesh and bone will have of no essence.

Life will drift away from your body manically digress,
you age no longer, but mold so faster,
the corruption of your body will soon progress,
and you shall then bow down to thy master.

So listen closely,
death is but a thing to wait for,
being scared is what people are mostly.
Demons shall hunt your soul, take thy, and ask for more.

Hold your breath,
do not wait,
run away,
and take heed of death,
for you will manically digress with hate.

In the coldness of the night,
manically digress,
your soul engages in a fight,
you shall lose at your best.

They had won,
you had lost,
say farewell hun,
thats what it will cost.

Suffer no love, suffer no pain
feel of nothing,
no touch, no feel, no complain,
it is just something.

Say farewell,
this is the end
tonight they dwell,
your life, you discontent.

For this is the manically digress,
that will soon lay you to rest.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
