Escaping Pain

Contributed by addicted2selfharm on Monday, 3rd January 2005 @ 03:19:27 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Demons surrond me, taking my last breath.
Crimson taste fading back, washing away lies.
Escaping pain, taking the easy way out...I know I'm a quitter...and for that I am ashamed....but I can't live this life of pain...

Surrender, It pulls at us all in one form or another surrender will always be a temptation. Death is inevitablility, suicide is not death it is theft. Generations will be abolished by the hands of one person. Will anyone ever recognize that we are greater than ourselves? I hated the message, but loved your ability to portray it in a vivid and elegant way.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
