Always there

Contributed by Sk8ergrl_911 on Monday, 3rd January 2005 @ 03:53:52 PM in AEST
Topic: InspirationalPoems

When it seems the world turns against me,
When the people depress me,
and distress me,
When I feel no one cares for me,
and it seems as though it is stormy,
the rain clouds come before me,
He is there.
Like a friend in whom I know is invisible but by my side,
like a brother that does not annoy me but enjoys me,
like the person I would wish to be,
Exactly what I try to be,
In the deepist valleys he's there for me,
In the darkness he's a light to me,
When I am bleeding he is a bandage for me,
When I am broken he is a cast that binds me back together,
When all my dreams have been shatered he is glue and puts them back together,
He is my God he is ALWAYS there and he always cares.

lovely, reverent sentiments with a good try at imagery...but try rearranging your stanzas, some are off step and there are also a few typos;

Very well written-
You show a strong belief in what a lot of people believe in-
May God always watch over and protect you-
By the way this is not "just a poem" it is an emotion from the heart-your heart-hold it close always...
