Little bird, mocker of the sky.
Darting in the wind.
Little bird, you are sly!
Swooping, gliding, soaring, gazing.

Little bird, scurge of the land.
Flying round picking at scraps.
Little bird, show your hand!
Slowly circling, slowly praying.

Little bird, pilager of the crop.
Swooping in and pulling seed.
Little bird, being cheeky nonstop.
Pecking, picking, eating, chewing.

Little bird, meat in the pie.
Stewing in delicious gravy.
Little bird, shot out of the sky.
Very yummy, very filling.
