Running into the woods,
Their footsteps closer
Undescribable is my fear
Im wanted for a murder
Im innocent of, framed
My life depends on
The escape im making
Failure is horrific death
Success just as bad
Life as a fugitive
Forever running, never free
I can here them now
Desprately looking
For refuge, a hiding place
I can feel them
Every step, another tear
Upon a worn out soul
My fate, but seconds away
I see them now
Fear has paralyzed me
They find me, failure
Still stupidly frozen in place
Befor they drag me off
They beat me till darkness
Then they drag me off
To a brutal, savage execution

Trying to outrun memories that plague the soul ... or something even more sinister that lurks deeper in the mind still. Many images come to mind with this. Thanks for providing a thought provoking write.
