I close my eyes and hear your heart,
I open my heart and see your soul.
To know your face and feel your love,
Is a gift that I patiently await.
I know you will love me as I already love you.
Perfectly tempered, fired;
Your heart is silver.
I will wait for you,
I will pledge to you my undying love
And promise it will always endure.
As I look upon the stars, I know you are
Seeing the same as I.
Wherever you are...know.
Know that I love you,
Know that I am praying for you,
Know that I am waiting.
And when Abba consents,
In your arms I will run,
And stay there for all the rest of my life.

| I too have tasted a love like you have described, it's such a bitter sweet joy to see where the road will lead isn't it? This is such a hearfelt peace, I hope he turns out to be worthy and more of such heartfelt emotions. Thanks for sharing, he is a lucky guy. ;-) |
