Shove the knife in a little deeper,
Put more lemon juice on the wounds,
Rip the stitches from my cuts,
And leave me there for dead,
Let the blood from my wrists,
Fall to the ground like tears,
And hold them out til the pain fades away,
Watch my whole world shatter,
And let it crumble down,
Let the wind carry my ashes,
So they can soar across the land,
Let me be free for once,
And finally don't hold me down.
