Maybe Seven Months

I'm a senior,
She's a junior,
Nine months MY junior is she.
I spend time with her,
Almost every day,
But next year this will not be.
I love her a lot,
And she loves me too.
Forever and always,
This will remain true
Next year I'll be in college,
But not TOO far away
So I will get to see her,
But not nearly every day.
I wish I could stay with her,
Forever and a day,
But unfortunately for me,
There are people in the way.
My parents, her parents,
Teachers, and the lot.
In this particular case
I wish adults were
Something we hadn't got.
I'm going to miss her,
That's a given.
When I'm with her,
I'm in heaven.
I guess I can deal
With the time away
Seeing as how in a while
I'll wake up with her everyday
