Is it just me
I ask my self everyday
Why nothing can be
Like they say
I wonder always
Why people these days
Are living a lie
Are wanting to die
The truth is hidden
It's put away
Like it's forbidden
To speak, to say
I keep wishing they told
What is wrong
Their lives are sold
But I'm holding on

This is an excellant poem, with a wonderful confrontation, I feel, on all the avoidance of truth and lack of openness in the world. I really like your last line ....."But I'm holdingi on."
