I close my eyes then you take my hand
You lead me to our special land
Together we are so happy and free
Nobody can ever come between you and me
Finely dressed we dance
sharing such a vivid romance
Looking in my eyes you see
You and I are meant to be
The moon so full and bright
Setting the mood, magical and right
The stars twinkle and glow
The music set, the rhythm slow
Together we share this unique love
Blessed from heaven up above
We share a passionate kiss
Bodies entwine with such bliss
It's time to leave our special land
Heading back to reality, you gently release my hand
Til we rendezvous in my dream again.....

Lovely poem. Refreshing to hear somthing on the site that isnt all bloody and death.
Nice to hear such a collection of cliches and traditional romantic images are still worth a poets time.

| this poem definantly deserves more comments. this was written well. excellent format. amazing rhymes. captivating and emotional. this also reminded me of one of avrils songs. |
