Looking back into our loves memories
Digging through pages of conquering insecurities
Of times, into each others eyes we silently gazed
And the moments we dealt with loves growing pains
Reading the story, of a knight and his queen
And how they fought for a love, never before seen
Reminiscing of the ooos and ahs of those looking in
Bringing to my moistened lips, a tight happy grin
Then coming across stories of erotic pleasure
The Queen Bee getting her fill of sweet nectar
And nights filled with scorching hot desires
It looks like Im not the only one who can start a fire
Then a tale of sorrow, as we almost walked away
And your poems of lament, hoping I would return someday
Of a touch of an angels heart, and things I still dont understand
But an eventual reuniting that would lead us to where we stand
There are of course, mistakes I made along the way
Ill gladly admit, Im not perfect in written word, or things I say
Even my most beautiful I love yous to me seem incomplete
And I wont deny many time, I wrote while tears leaked
While you dont write as much about me as you did before
Your words still carry a deep meaning I cannot nor will not ignore
For my hope for the future, I always have the love letters of our past
The poems weve exchanged, will always be the light, on my hearts mast

This is so beautiful..I love the lines Your words still carry a deep meaning i cannot nor will not ignore....that's breathtaking, hope she see's this one i enjoyed it alot..

Gotta love memories! Even just sifting through them in your mind can be amazing. No one is perfect, and no love is ever perfect. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want it to be! I mean, where's the fun in that? lol
