Trail to the back
Of your mind
It's somewhere
For you to find

Open the gates,
Gates gonna open
Scrape off your plate
Into the bag that is open
For a way through the gate
Is what I've been hopin'

You can see me
Outside of the wind
Just looking like I could
Be your friend
All of my senses
Are rendered useless
At the sight of your approach
I'm hanging by a thread
I'm hanging on to the hope
That you won't have me
Hanging by the throat
Lashed to a rope
