Daylight hears you crawl Daylight here she comes Talkin' to you pleasantly About the weather presently It seems there might be A cloud comin' through She wants to talk with you And tell you all about what she saw A water drop firstly Then steady the sky was bursting And the desert used to be thirsty
She came in And she sat down At the table Her hair was dark and brown She stared for a minute Then looked down for two She was chasing spirits In your lively saloon
Daylight hears you crawl Across the desert Into the bathroom stall You've made your bed In muddy straw She said "I think the Sun is comin' for us all."
