Amethyst Eyes

Silver skeletons with Sparkling amethyst eyes and Unbeating ruby hearts; Empty platinum smiles, Sheepish grins of sorrow. Brainless skulls, Empty of everything; Full of nothing but Fading, sweetly-scented moths, Leaving bitter, acrid drops In their wake. Like rapidly-flowing waves, Growing denser and darker, Flowing further and faster, Deep and dank, Cold and murky. A never-ending whirlpool, Sucking you in, down and down. Compressing skeletal remains Into fluid Like amber stones, To be skipped across a pond, Jumping atop lily-pads, To sink down among the reeds. Oozing and melting. Dissipating outwards, Nourishing bloated tadpoles, And ink-skinned frogs With frail vertebrae, And sparkling, amethyst eyes.
