MY KNIGHT IN GREY SHINY ARMOUR

MY KNIGHT IN GRAY SHINY ARMOUR

AS HE PASSES LIKE A STREAK I KNOW NOT THAT HES THERE
AS HE LOOKS FOR HIS PRINCESS IN A BLACK MUSTANG
IF ONLY THEY CAN RIDE TOGETHER SIDE BY SIDE
TO SEE THEM SMILE
TO SEE THEM GLIDE
IS TO SEE THEM TOGETHER SIDE BY SIDE

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT
WHEN HE COULD SEE
HER DAIR HAIR BLOW IN THE WIND
DARK GLASSES MADE HER MYSTERIOUS
HE USE TO LOOK HER WAY AND KNOW
WHAT NO OTHER MAN KNEW OF HER
THEY HAD THEIR OWN SPECIAL TOUCH
THEY HAD THEIR OWN SPECIAL CONTACT
THEY HAD THEIR OWN SPECIAL SMILES

IF HE COULD ONLY SEE HER NOW
HE WOULD SEE NO SMILE
HE WOULD KNOW HES BROKE HER SPIRIT
HE COULD SEE HES BROKE HER HEART
HE WOULD KNOW SHE CAN NOT START
TO HEAL WITHOUT HER SWEETHEART

IF ONLY I COULD SEE MY GREY SHINING ARMOUR
I WOULD TELL HIM OF MY HEART
I WOULD TELL HIM OF MY FRIGHT
I WOULD TELL HIM I NEED HIM NEAR
SO MY LIFE WILL BE OH SO CLEAR

IVE BEEN ASKED WHAT I WANT FOR MY FUTURE
JUST FOR MY SHINY GREY ARMOUR
HIS BLACK MUSTANG BEAUTY
TO BE RIDING AGAIN SIDE BY SIDE
WATCHING THE SUNRISE
AND THE WARM GLOW OF THE SUNSET

You know if you were going for a Fellini type poem here you hit it on the head..If not Maybe David Lynch type here..But no that would be giving to much credit..

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
