O the amethyst prince
How his eyes do wince
To see our desperate retrieval
Of lost memories in time's suspense

I implores this

Enigmatic night

Scattered in the wilderness of your mind
Are our lost memories
The ones you have unfairly
Hid from us

The Memory Holder:

Am I not a puzzled merchant of sorts?
Selling back to you
Your minds that you say I've stolen
So that
Your minds
Are my minds
Could be your minds once again
