Staring out the window
I fear the coldness you will feel
Tears flowing down my face
You sit there like a King
Majestic in every way
I know
It's time to let you go.
One more kiss I need to give
To My one and only friend
A love I have never known
I pray for a miracle
Knowing it will not come
I know
It's time to let you go.
I need time to hold you
To feel your breathe against my face
Looking into your eyes
Silently saying I love you
Feeling your heartbeat against my own
I know
It's time to let you go.
Time has come to say goodbye my friend
My heart is filling with much pain
I gently touch you once more
Knowingly tomorrow you will not be there
For me to hold you once more
I know
It's time to let you go.
