All along I've been searching
Yearning to find that one
Waiting for them to show themselves
This journey far from done
I've waited so painfully
I've begged and pledded
I've wondered when they would find me
These things I've so desperately needed
Through my journeys I've found some things
I've found my wishes and demands have caused pain, and what confusion it brings
I think my answer to all these questions
I think my solution to all this chaos
Is all within me
I believe that God has prepared me
for the pain failure brings
I need to look inside
I need to leave regret behind
I need to find love within myself
For without that I can be of no help
I've surrender my pain
Sanity I've yet to regain
I've accepted my mistakes
For God is love he does not forsake
I believe in me
but I am so scared to be
who I am deep inside, so scared to be free
I fear of failing once again, for having faith be a distant friend.
One thing I know, I thought my life was over
This is my journey, the beginning, no further

This I can totally relate to. I feel each painful word, and have been (and sometimes still am) in this place of distress and pain. You voiced it well. Good read, Good write.
