Take a moment to reflect
Upon the feelings you hold
Relax and let the friendship bloom
Don't rush, it's better slow, I am told.
Do you know what's really in your heart,
Can you separate the feelings, each as their own;
How can you say that you really love me
When friendship and caring is all we've shown?
Sometimes I feel that it's not me you desire
Yet your touch tells me so much more;
My confusion is embedded so deep within
And I'm trying to realize what you're in this for.
Ever so gently I feel myself falling deeper
And I wonder if you'll be there when....
I'm falling in love though my mind says go slow...
I can't go through heartache and pain again.
