LoveRemembered

Thinking back,I can feel your touch The warmth of your flesh on mine Feeling we didn't act on but could have I don't regret the time we shared. Tenderness, you always have within you I was drawn by it Like a moth to a flame We talked, we touched, we shared things No one else could ever understand What we had between us. I have the longing still to touch you tenderly But know within my heart I can't do it. I can keep the memories of you locked away in my heart I hope someday to have you bring the key and unlock the door A love shared,is a love alive, that's what we had This love will never die.

"A love shared,is a love alive, that's what we had
This love will never die."
Lovely way to end such a heartfelt poem.
Great job! |
