Do my words fall upon deaf ears?
My desires I say, but no one hears.
What I want I do not possess.
What I have is just a mess.
My dreams seem to never come true.
I really wanted to get to know you.
When our relationship could have been more.
My courage leapt right out the door.
I failed to follow my own heart.
Now when I see you it tears me apart.
I missed my chance and you moved away.
I will truly miss you every day.
