Pushed away from love
Discarded forever
To be cared for, I wish!
To have a friend, never!
I will be alone
As no one can see me
People look right through me
Im here but you cant see
As it get colder
I long for a friend
I pray to find someone
With a heart to lend
I was pushed away
Can you ever care?
Please just touch me
But wait! Im not there
If you could see me
Then you will know
Who I am and why
I need you so
Ill hold out my hand
Youll scrape by it
And you shudder
As though repulsed by it
I want to be held
Kept out of the cold
I want to find a friend
Someone to hold
One tear falls
From one eye
You look up
As though it came from the sky
I look across the street
I see a young girl
With startling blue eyes
And red crimson curls
She doesnt look through me
She sees and she smiles
I know Ive found a friend
If only for a while
She runs over to me
She actually cares
She gives me a hug
She then stops and stares
Im pushed right away
Just like at the start
I thought this was different
I thought she had a heart
She pushed me away and said
I really do care
Please hold me
You cantyoure not there

too much truth. How often do we glance away at those we don't wnat to see.. in our hearts and minds they are there - just let them know *you* know.
