What is poetry
can it be defined
or does it have so many definitions
that one would sell it short
is poetry really original
or is it just a cliche of emotions
does poetry really reflect oneself
or does it simply reflect the ideas of the majority
what makes a poem unique
what makes it original
who's to say it's good
and who's to say it's bad
does any poem really make sense
does any poem really serve a purpose
does any poem truly represent the inner genius of the poet
what good does it do to write poetry
do poems really help one to tell their inner feelings
does their poem really get the point across
how should one ever know
isn't a poem open to interpretation
will it not mean something different to every reader
what is poetry
can it be defined
