Although

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Although I never met you
you're always on my mind.
Although you were never born
I think about you all the time.

Although I'll never hold you
inside please know I'm dying,
I only wanted to get to know you
deep down I'm always crying.

Although I never held you
I still feel your touch.
Although I never smelled you
I'm always missing you much

Although you're not around
you are always in my heart.
Although right now I frown
some day I'll meet you in the park

Although it can't be now
please remember that I love you,
although you're not around
I'm always thinking of you.

Although I thought of your name,
Isabella or Jean-Paul
I'm picturing you in heaven
looking down at it all

Can you see my pain
the anger and hurt?
I only wanted to love you
I would have tried my best to make it work.

Please don't hate me,
although forever you could.
Please don't forget me
times just weren't that good.

Please know I love you
forever until I die.
Although I never met you
inside I always cry.

Although my mind said it was right
my hear said it was wrong,
although I know I should wait
the question is how long?

Although time will pass by
I will never stop forgetting
although you never were
I will always live regretting.

Although we both would really love you
whether a boy or a girl
although we both stood dreaming
we can't bring you into this world.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
