Alone

Contributed by pixie on Thursday, 13th January 2005 @ 03:09:20 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Here I sit all alone in my room,
Waiting to disappear into the gloom,
Waiting for someone to answer my request,
From all my pain I want to be undressed.

I can hear all the insignificant, little sounds,
That you dont notice when others are around,
Pipes banging, clocks ticking, my breathing,
In the background I hear my heartache & pain conceiving.

They never let me see where they hide,
Only in each other do they confide,
They say twos a couple, threes a crowd,
So in their little group I am not allowed.

They whisper about me of that I am sure,
If they see me coming they slam the door,
I hear them on the other side laughing at me,
Poking fun because you both I can not see.

Please let me in, confide in me too,
I know that I can also be like the two of you,
I would like to make friends with my demons, my horrors,
As it will bring a brighter tomorrow.
