Punish me, ravage me, love me,
Wrench my chains,
Force me to bow at your feet
Calm my desires,
Lend me your lips just once,
Give me your body
Bittersweet agony, this yearning
Twist me in any direction,
Do as you please
Kiss me, caress me, tear me,
Make the blood flow
Have a taste,
Relish the moment,
Sip my pain
Delicious, this scarlet wine
Beautiful, this tale of pain and pleasure
Fulfill my sinful longings,
Whisper my name sweetly
Awake the monster within,
And drown in my sea of lust
Open the door, step right in
A realm of infinite Night,
A dance with Death
Kiss Temptation,
Fall into Her merciless grasp
Take a look in the mirror,
What do you see?
I know you
Youre me
Feed from my sorrow,
Revel from my passion,
Suffocate in my splendor
Sacrifice yourself to me,
And I will show you a world of Immortality
Where darkness is your sanctuary,
And blood is the life
Succumb to my hidden desires,
Fulfill my crimson fantasies

| well..I started to say over, under and through..or twist and shout..then found it went much deeper.. so I ..just decided on my ..great write..but that's so..normal. I could give you roses..but we all know that's been taken.. and I can't scream out with desire..or can I.. hmm ya know Stephy.. I want to be tied with silk ropes.. or play the wanton before I die..but times tickin'.. and wrinkles form..no one wants a wrinkled old whore.. I don't think..but I ramble... |

this is deeply shocking how you speak of your self in the third person and personify your desired, these thoughts that haunt you will pass keep faith and dont give up.
I have yeat to read a poem like this it speaks on so many leavel to to and how it pertrayes you emotions, this is going to be one of my favoret poems of all, thank you for sharing with us. do post agin soon God bless

Every once in a while I hear the voices in my head responding or reading someone elses words ... It happens here. A different voice for each line ... maybe four, no five voices. The fifth voice always reads the last two lines of every stanza. They are patterned all the same.
Lines 1& 5 - voice one
Lines 2 & 6 - voice two
Lines 3 & 7 - voice three
Lines 4 & the bridge - voice four
Lines 8 & 9 voice five
Each stanza starts out slow, soft and as the voices trade off, each one speaks a little louder, a little bit faster than the voice before ...crescendoing to the 7th line ... then 8 and 9 are spoken quiet, and wistfully seductive. I see this performed on a dark stage in my head. The voices each have their own spotlight and are separated from each other, so the lights flash back and forth with a near strobe effect.
I can't say why, but this is how these words affected me. Amazing power within these lines Steph, to awaken all of that within my head.
