A DREAM IN MY HEART
Each moment of my life
I had A DREAM IN MY HEART
You were that dream my love
being there right from the start
From the very first enthralling second
I laid eyes on you
I was instantly infatuated
and at that moment I knew
You were the one, I had dreamed
I would someday find
The lady of my life
that had been living, there in my mind
A meeting by chance, more than romantic
a match made in heaven
Having been a gambler, I knew
definitely, it was seven come eleven
The dream tha I had in my heart
that became a reality
Happiness forever, with you
my darling, in actuality

this is so beautiful, bruce. i wish i had a man that would write such beautiful poetry to me. i think that writing poetry is the true meaning of the heart. it's like sharing your heart to others without really doing it... i hope that makes sense. anyway, it absolutely astonishing!
