All I can do is cry
My love for life
Continues to die
You took my reason to keep holding on
I'm lost now that your gone
I reminisce about the past
Life went by way too fast
Every night your face haunts my thoughts
The memories of me and you
Make the tears burn my eyes
The pictures of so long ago
Are all that's left of history
I'm dying to be free
From the life you left behind
I can never sleep
I can only lie awake
Wondering what the next day will bring
Hoping i'll finally forget you
Hoping I'll get your face out of my mind
But knowing I'll never find
Someone to love me again
It's killing me to be here
Without you near
Every tear that hits the floor
only makes you want back more
I'm crashing under the pain
I thought I could take
How much can I fake?
I wish i could wake up
And be next to you
and have this be a nightmare
But I see nothing your not there
I can't face the truth
The pain I can not take
Only one thing is left to do
I'll end my story too
I won't be left behind

Wonderful emotion, i have felt this same way recently. You expressed this very well. Pain, though it is hard to deal with, makes for excellent poetry.

Hey hon..I hope you'll feel better with time. I used to feel this way for a whole year! U have no idea how much that sucked! I hope it won'thappen to you..try to date other people maybe u dont want that but time will tell..just don't take 2 long to decide..if the person wont waste their time on u..why waste urs on them?

Wow, I'm right there. This kind of heartbreak eats you alive. Why is it that we're the ones still holding on when we should be the first to let go?
This was a great write full of such familiar emotions for me.
I hope one morning soon you will wake up and feel no pain.
