This is a song for you my friend
Before our friendship comes to an end
I don't want to be the one
To say our friendship is done
I don't want to have to say
Please leave my sight go away
Take your memories with you
Thoughts that I would gladly lose
Times have come my friend
On you all things depend
Do you want me to leave
Just say the word and I'll do what you please
Do you really want me to leave
Yes or no I'm asking on my knees
Things that used to be
Have fallen apart too suddenly
I think that we both need to relax
Before we do anything rash
I do not want to leave here
With thoughts of you never being near
But if it must occur that way
I will not beg you to stay
Times have come my friend
