the dark has turned me over
explored the light
and turned it inside and out
iam covered with death
rotting inside
iam a bad seed
dont let me touch you
my roots will spread
you have turned me
you have grew me into this dead black rose
pricks so no-one but you can have me
growing in your heart
deformed like your love
iam deadly
poisonous
only you have the answer
to my disease
disease being love
my leaves quiver
and my roots rot
iam dying
in your heart
i will lay
in black blood i shall be
let you devour me whole
i have given up
my black self dead
iam the black rose
