Theories of creationism, evolution, of why the earth feels pain. There's no solution, we're seeking answers in vain.
Can you break this dance of death in which I twist and twirl? Where did I go, where's that innocent girl?
In the arms of this illusionist I see beyond myself. In spite of these contusions, maybe it will lose itself.
Can you return it to pristine, can you heal this shattered mask? Can you shower warm rain instead of pain in which the world can bask?
Mindless motions entwining beyond this awareness, aching bones collapse; Consuming repititions beyond consciousness, this mindlessness entraps.
Can you see beyond your mindless mannerisms, and heal this masochist? Can you crush the power-mad kingdoms and eradicate the sadist?
Break this dance of death, bring back the innocent girl. Heal this masochist, let the life unfurl.

How dare you hide this from the world for so long!?! Excellent poem! I loved the rhyme scheme, and the language evoked strong images of one with great struggles. |

Now, I like this. I wish I could get this kind of depth and cleverness when I use rhyme. Nice stuff.
