Ethnic Delight

Ethnic Delight

Shine bright Apollo
Rise with freshness by the touch of Aurora
Ancients myths, spirited Gods
Tantalize our senses
Passionate calls desire your throne
Succulent nectar of the Gods sweetened juice
Ripen my souls with enticing powers
Songs of spirited exotic sounds
Sing with all your breath
Dance among the heavens
Pungent incense,
Evocative oils
Seduce my scents
Cover my body with soothing aromatic perfume
Lift my heart with you hums of daunting calm
Greek scriptures,
Tribal healings,
Touch me with you powers
Ganesh, son of Hindu excellence
Grant me wisdom
The joy that you relinquish
Lushes myths of Thailand
Sing with the Chinese Nightingale
Birds of flight
Soar with grace
Sing your sweet songs of heavenly ease
Breeze of the skies
Enrich the lands with softness
Seas of ocean blueness, ignite your waves
Whales and dolphins
Swim amongst the crystallized vastness
Eastern lands
Western worlds
Lands of all
Fly as one
Rejoice in the ethnic delights of difference
Live amongst the succulent lands and indulge
Indulge together with spirited unity
Gods of heavens, spirits of all
Send us peace
Peace that we long for
Calmness that we cry for

And who are the "we" that cry

I agree that it is interesting to know about other cultures. But, the reason we have so much diversity is because people didn't get along to begin with. If we all believed the same thing..i guess it would be boring..but only then would we have real peace.
