I was wrong before
You were just trying to settle the score
I'm the curse
I only make your life worse
I thought you wanted me to share
You said that you really cared
But I've become a burden
And because of me you're hurtin'
You told me what you thought I needed to hear (i didn't)
But managed to open my eyes to the one thing I fear
I'm being selfish again
Down a road that we've already been
History seems to repeat itself
Once more I'm just bad for your health
So maybe this time our goodbye will last
And maybe I can manage to ignore our past.
