Have you ever had a moment
When all your troubles blew away
And you were finally content
But the feeling wasn't there to stay
It made you believe everything would be alright
When nothing went your way
All the pain and hurt was out of sight
It made you want to change yourself today
Forgive the one who hurt you so bad
Move on and learn to love once again
And learn to get along with what you had
You closed your eyes and remembered when
Why is it that moments like that are never real
More like dreams that don't seem to ever come true
Nothing can express the way you feel
For those moments, you thought that you broke through
But then the uncertainty came back
And you just wanted to die
You closed your eyes to see just black
You didn't want to give life another try
