My Long Lost Friend

When we were only seven or eight,
We were always each other's best playmate,
We were best friends for years,
Then something happened that we've had in our fears,
When junior high started,
We gradually parted,
Then we never saw each other,
We just forgot about one another,
I'm in 10th grade now and taking geometry,
But the first day in that class something happened to me,
I was just sitting there daydreaming,
Then I looked up and started beaming,
All these years without a friend,
And school days without an end,
I found my one and only long lost friend,
