Blessed
Daybreak and the unmerciful day are gone,
Weary and fatigued I dare not go.
Distant, I surrender to slumbers song,
Mind gone dreary, and sleep must come I know.
Across the moon and drowned by shadow.
The twinkle of my mind brings pleasant dream.
The body gone limp and images go.
Awakened by the kiss of a gentle sunbeam.
Arise with a smile, I praise God, all is fine.
He rescued me of a tired story.
I realize now, hes the master, and makes all shine.
He holds me proud and I defend his history.
So hold on while life is progressing.
Savor each day and praise and thank Him for each blessing.

| all i can say is AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it took me so long just to realize that God has blessed me in so many ways. this was a very good poem! |
