A space on the wall

A picture comes off a deckhead Now, a space beside a bed
A picture is then put away A drawer is where it will stay
A picture is now out of sight Try to forget it, especially at night
A picture that will not hide, Even if it was thrown over the side
A picture of which I know every part A picture, forever, in my heart.
