Standing Alone

Contributed by Moshi_Moshi on Monday, 17th January 2005 @ 01:54:40 AM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

In the darkness I wait alone
I go where I'm not known
I light a match to so I can see
Deep inside, I want to be free

You see a girl
You try not to hurl
Blood and a scar
You know she's not

I feel pain
I have nothing to gain
In the darkness I wait
For my undecided fait

You see a light on her
You walk closer
To get a good look
It looks like something out of a book

It hurts to move
Everyone always tell me to improve
I just hurt myself
To save yourself

You liked me like a lie
You always wanted me to die
So I'm here in the dark
And I've left my mark

I will never let you change me
I am what you will see
I will I am down to the bone
Even if it means by standing alone
