The Ship in the Storm

Contributed by Lee on Monday, 17th January 2005 @ 10:17:34 AM in AEST
Topic: mystical

Miniature gold beaters
So many fish eaters
Can you catch the card cheaters?

Down 'round them parts
You might find a ghost
Holding on to a candy heart

Impulsive
Can it be?
Repulsive
Is it he?
Propulsion
How fast is free?

I tried to batten down the hatches
With a box of wet matches
A large elephant conquered the seaspray
And a little boy harnessed a molecular ray

This was the story of the ship in the storm
To the howling wind and raging water
Its hull would not confrom

This is delightfully bizarre. It has a classic touch...oriental-sounding. Glad I read it. Each stanza got better and better as I read along. Seriously.
