You came home to say
Soon I must go away,
This brought sadness to my day
Making my world go gray.
We do not know
How all this will go
But I want you to know
I will never let you go.
I loved you
Before anyone knew
In my heart
Our love grew
From the very start.
My heart will yearn
Till the day you return
Our sadness is as true
As my love is for you.
I love you today
I will love you while you are away
My love and my heart will never stray.
