THE MOST TRAGICALLY BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY

Contributed by imalive_enoughsaid on Monday, 17th January 2005 @ 04:10:03 PM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

Walking..
slowly getting closer
not knowing what he will say
when he sees me
not knowing what he will do
when im finally there
been gone so long
i can barley picture his face
does he remember mine?

Walking...
still getting closer
on his street
its so unreal ,
i cant belive im finally there
the moment ive been waiting for
for so long
to see him
to smell him
to be held by him
so beautiful...

i arrive there
i cant belive i see him
he runs out of the house
towards me...
i run towards him
with my knees so wobbly
and hands so unsteady
AND WE COLLIDED ,
with a warm embrace
so innocent and pure

there were no words
just two heartbeats
against eachother..
until we finally muttered
"i love you"
in each others ears
as if it were almost to hard to speak..
and then we kissed
the most passionate kiss,
i had ever encountered
we both knew i had to leave
and lived those three days
in a fleeting glimpse of eternity
evolved from one moment,
and in a flash .....IT WAS GONE.

This definatly wasn't too long. It was just right, I think.
I like this, it's very sweet, but incredibly sad, too.
I especially like this part:

we both knew i had to leave
and lived those three days
in a fleeting glimpse of eternity
evolved from one moment,
and in a flash .....IT WAS GONE.

Great write,
Phil
