Staring into nothing
Everything seemed so clear
Confusing as it was
Your words played over
My mind like a broken record
I closed my eyes so tight
But the sounds still came through
Echoing loud and clear
And this my gift to you
One million years of silence
Not even noise inside your head
My voice long forgotten
Dead as the music you once knew
