I wish I could dance,
from beat to beat
swing my hips
and pick up my feet.
I wish I had more time
to lose myself in novels,
to photograph my world,
to write volumes of poetry.
I wish I could feel sexy --
toss on extravagant
to common outfits,
and feel like a woman.
I wish I had more time
to people-watch,
to sit in cafes,
to dream the day away.
I wish I could stop wishing,
sit down, organize,
rediscover my passions
and shape my world.
