falling petals

shrouds of darkness smother
details matter not
adorned in black
her feet slowly walk
petals softly falling
onto the frozen ground
tears left still standing
hiding tears from a crowd
deaths secrets kept
the ones left behind
why did he chose
a way out with suicide
