Cut Yourself
You tell me while you cry
All the reasons why
You want to die
They aren't good enough
The strife can be reached above
And you don't need any love
You only listen to yourself
And drown in the emotions felt
Down so far that you never hear me
And you're still blind to everything
Unable to breathe
Cut yourself, slice the vein
Kill yourself, hate the pain
Don't think about anything
Just give up everything
And cut the pain away
Forget why
You were given a life
Forget why
I even tried

Very good write.....I can feel your frustration with trying to save this person who won't save their self.....Sometimes taking a step back from the situation does some good - Remember they have to want help as much as you want to help them.....

| This is amazing and very very true. I've felt like that and I've done that. Tried to tune out the people that cared, that tore down my reasons. I told my self they didn't get it and carried on my dreary way. This hits so very close to home. I love it. -Sami- |
