You started off as just a friend
But through those hints you use to send
I realized you wanted more
But all your love, I would ignore
You couldn't be more than a friend
For I was affraid to love again
The girls before you broke my heart
My life's a puzzle, torn apart
your feelings for me always show
Then my love for you started to grow
At first, I didn't know what to do
so now, everynight I dream of you
I dream that God made you for me
and you are mine for all eternity
everything about you makes you fine
But then I wake up and you're not mine
so ??????, come knock on my door
And show me how to love once more
