Another Soul Lost...

Contributed by angeldustnglitter on Friday, 6th December 2002 @ 05:00:00 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I sit a room so cold, dark and alone,
Hiding from daddy when he arrives home,
My daddy says he loves me,and that I'm his little girl,
But he does bad things to me,
yet I cannot tell...

Body shivers and my heart pounds,
I lay limp on the cold soil ground,
My eyes are red from all the crying,
And I can feel every part of me is slowly dying...

With every punch and and every word he speaks,
He takes my youth and my self-being,
He has already taken my pride and my belief,
That someday I may be set free...

As night darkens and daddy sleeps,
I lay awake praying on my knees,
I ask of God to heal my aching wounds,
And beg of him to stay in my room...

I cannot sleep afraid of what might come,
Hearing daddy beating on my door like a rumbling drum,
I hate to look him in his eyes,
Cause all I see is the devil in disguise...

Today was the last time he made me cry,
He has ended my life...

No more punches,
No more throws,
No more rape,
Or bloody noses...

No more crying,
No more fear,
No more hiding,
I'm no longer there...

I have joined God and all the angels above,
I have entered a Heaven with joy and lot's of love.
But I will pray for the many children like me,
Who live in a world that is dark and unseen...
