but will it show a solution?
Excuse me while I open
another bottled revolution
This is where the river flows
...but where it goes...
I'll never know
Good reasons escape me
while the room spins around
this place is so empty
it drags me
down

down to where the river flows
...but why it goes...
I'll never know
Good excuses are borrowed
from these people I laugh at
They're singing for tomorrow
And well, I'll drink to that

Interesting the way the rhythm changes during this write. It does sound a little like the way a drunk person walks and does things. Has that erratic quality to it. Good write! Cheers! *wonders if she should say that. lol*

I absolutely loved this .......and I don't even drink....but - well I don't have enough room to tell that story but someone I used to know is so the epitomy of this poem.....
