Precious Child ~~~~ Could anything be more pure? Then the heart of a little boy Whose prime objection Is to bring is parents joy
To his spontaneous actions To his copycat phase You can see yourself through him In all his mischievous ways
He knows only of love Not a mean-spirited bone has he Hes learning on a curve As he takes in what he sees
Unselfish in his ways Genuine in all he does He brings light into the life From the darkness that it was
Hell own your heart and soul Hell make you laugh and make you cry How youll love that little boy Hell be the apple of your eye All he ask for in return Is safety, food, and love Such a minimal request For this gift from up above

This warms the heart and soul and brings back such lovely memories. Watch your contractions and grammar a bit more.

You are truly blessed, Jeff... First for having a son like Chris..and secondly, for having the ability to write so well..
